Thrillophilia Meghalaya Reviews

Recently, I visited Meghalaya with my childhood friends, and it was undoubtedly the best experience to date. Here is my Meghalaya trip review, where you will learn about one of my life’s best trips, how I planned it and how it went.

We booked our package for Meghalaya from Thrillophilia as it is our go-to trusted travel platform. Why do we book a package? Well, a simple and straightforward answer is that it saves you time and the effort of booking everything separately. Not to mention, booking things separately, of course, costs a lot more than an all-inclusive package.

Also, we have Thrillophilia, with whom top-notch services, best rates, superb stays, and quality time are sure things. We wanted to explore the best of Meghalaya, including its lakes, waterfalls, and root bridges, all offered in the ‘Trails of Meghalaya’ package. This package also had some fantastic Thrillophilia reviews of the Meghalaya trip, which made us finalise the package.

Without any second thoughts, we dropped the enquiry, contacted a representative, completed all the formalities, paid, and booked the package for a group of 6.

We were on the flight, and the next thing we knew, we were waiting to land and explore the beautiful Meghalaya.

How did our trip go?

Our trip lasted 8 days and 7 nights, including destinations like Guwahati, Shillong, Cherrapunji and Dawki.

Before I mention the trip’s details, Thrillophilia never fails to impress us with its choice of stay. Throughout the trip, we only received the best possible hotel in our budget, which had top services, warm hospitality, great food, spacious rooms and amazing views out the window. Also, our driver was a localite and a lovely and welcoming person who entertained us with interesting facts about the region. He even taught us some common local phrases, and we truly enjoyed his company.

We spent around two days in Shillong, exploring many attractions, meeting some locals, and trying various foods. We visited Umiam Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Krang Suri Falls, Elephant Falls and Laitlum Canyon. We also visited the vibrant Police Bazaar, where we did quite a lot of shopping.

The highlight of the trip was our amazing days in Cherrapunji. I cannot even begin to talk about its beauty; it is nothing less than a treasure for our country. In these 3 days, we explored plenty of attractions, my top favourites being Seven Sister Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Arwah Caves, Double Decker Root Bridge and Nohkalikai Falls. A refreshing trek towards the iconic Double Decker Root Bridge was one of the best things suggested in the Thrillophilia Meghalaya trip reviews.

We also made short day trips to Mawphlang and Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village. We also covered the Single Decker Root Bridge, Umngot River and Balancing Rock. We also visited the famous Shnongpdeng village, the adventurer’s paradise in Meghalaya. There, we tried a lot of fun activities like kayaking and boating.

Thank You Thrillophilia

Thrillophilia has been our constant travel partner for years and has never disappointed us. Everything from their excellent customer service to stays, itineraries, and package prices is commendable. One thing I love the most about this company is that it offers customisations, allowing you to feel in charge of your travels.

Ultimately, I want to tell anyone reading this review of the Meghalaya tour with Thrillophilia that they are at the correct place and need not look elsewhere.
